Veggie Popped Spaghetti

Veggie Popped Spaghetti

Serves: 4 | Prep time: 5 min | Cook time: 20 min

Ingredients

  • 2 Veggie Pop-Ins (Carrot, Broccoli, or Cauliflower)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
  • 12 oz spaghetti (or any pasta you love)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta
  2. Boil spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown the turkey
  4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Warm the sauce + add Veggie Pop-Ins
  6. In the same pan, pour in your favorite jarred pasta sauce. Add 2 Veggie Pop-Ins softened under warm water and stir until melted and blended smoothly into the sauce (about 2–3 minutes).
  7. Combine
  8. Simmer for 5–10 minutes to let the flavors come together.
  9. Serve
  10. Toss the sauce with the cooked spaghetti and serve warm. Garnish with parmesan cheese or fresh basil if you like.
